BEAUTIFUL color and cut!

I was SO going to love this coat because of its 650 down rating and MIRAGE color! I'm 5ft 8" and wear a large. The tail at the back is adorable for covering. So soft, light, plump. I personally felt that it added volume to my broad shoulders and it had too much extra material in the shoulders. Sleeve. Very beautiful! (No hood. Full thermal lining!)

Pros
  • Internal Security Pocket
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

Warm enough for an AK: Jackets & Coats

I happened to read that this coat is warm and no one has indicated where it is considered warm. I'm telling you now it's warm enough for Alaska! Mild winter but around 0F. Even at -20°F I expect it to withstand stratification if needed. I ordered a large, I would normally wear a small or medium when not pregnant, but my pregnant belly is 39 inches right now and there is room.

Pros
  • 2-way comfort stretch
Cons
  • Nothing

Perfect Coat: Jackets & Coats

I love this coat. I've searched long and hard for something really warm, not like a giant fluffy ball of down and feathers. It's stylish, fits perfectly and keeps me really warm in northern climates. I recommend this coat to anyone suffering from frost. I think it has something to do with the technology being the silver lining. Whatever it is, it doesn't matter. All I know is that I've never had such a comfortable winter coat!

. Wear a medium size with most things as I like space

Am 1.60m tall and usually wear a medium in most things as I like some space. I'm 138lbs, I'm 32DD and wear a 4 in most dresses and pants for reference. It was great for a trip to Ireland in the winter - it was very warm. Unfortunately, both on and off, it's quite bulky and not easy to grab. I bought it for a good price and it was worth it for the trip and the cold days down south.

Pros
  • . Shell: 100% Polyester DP Ripstop. Lining: 100% Polyester, Heat Reflective Microtex DP
Cons
  • , Confusion

Hit the mark! great for outdoor activities

I was looking for a simple black winter jacket. The Patagonia material is too shiny and a little flimsy. North Face, which is usually a popular brand, is bulky and can go from off-white to gloss black or even off-white depending on sales. This Columbia jacket hits the mark. Perfect black color, zip pockets, slim fit, very light but functional and warm. My only request is a hidden hood. Also, I've finally found perfection in this Columbia jacket!

Pros
  • 650 fill Power Down Insulation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I love this coat! for women

This coat fits perfectly in size Large. It's not too bulky and keeps me warm. Look folks, when you buy a down jacket, it's not going to be like wearing a windbreaker. The fur will be a little swollen. Compared to other down jackets, this is by far the lightest I've tried. And believe me, I've tried a lot this season. I love this coat and have another brand in my closet and am considering returning it. Get the size you usually wear. They are true to size.

Pros
  • Waterproof fabric
Cons
  • Protection

Good coat! on outerwear

I bought the small based on the reviews but maybe I would have been better off with the XS as it has enough room even with a thick sweater. For reference, I'm 5 feet 2 inches tall and weigh 99 pounds. This coat is comfortable even when I'm sitting/riding and while it feels light it's quite warm. There is a small inner pocket which is great for driver's licences/drivers. Cards/cash if I don't want to carry my wallet. The side pockets are lined with soft fabric. I love the double zip in case you…

Pros
  • 100% polyester. Filling: 80% Duck Down/20% Feather Lining
Cons
  • Empty
