Worked in one printer, didn't work in another

My printer didn't recognize this cartridge. I gave a friend a second cartridge with another brother's printer that uses the same cartridges and it worked. I don't know if it's a lack of quality control or something else, but I bought my brother's cartridge instead.

Good quality at a great price!

Bought a new printer because my two boys are at home this semester but still have classes. This ink was so expensive for him at the stationery store! Thought I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did! This is a great price, nice and black, no stains and easy to install with no mess! I've since ordered quite a few more so it will be a long time before we're done!

Toner print is very light and skips a whole section every 2-3 pages, randomly on page

UPDATE: The second cartridge is also defective. :(I took a chance with this product because there were 43 5 star reviews and nothing below. I should have known better. The first one doesn't work reliably. I took it out and shook it a few times which didn't Fall was Doesn't help. The print is very light and every 2-3 pages a section about 1" wide across a random section of the printed page is completely illegible. I haven't opened or tried the second cartridge. Do this. I would buy and recommend TN660 toner and TN630 toner from you again

These cartridges do not disappoint. To date, there are absolutely no problems with them. Brother TN660 Toner, Brother TN630 Toner is what we use in our printers.
