    Sturdy and durable! Banned by my disposal company

    Love how durable they are! I ordered these 4 gallons for my 2 gallon compost bin so I would have extra room to tie the ends together and they are perfect! Very happy with my purchase. I've had a sign on my compost since I bought them saying they won't be accepted by my recycling company. Apparently they don't have a special stamp. Therefore, ask your disposal company whether this is permitted. Now I have to buy another brand. Pooh.

    This bag does not deteriorate.

    It was a different consistency and finish than other compostable bags I've had. I was skeptical but hooked one up. After a few days I didn't notice any change. When the bag was full and I had to toss it in the compost bin, I saw no deterioration or signs of rot, so I had to dump the leftovers in the bin without the bag. I took the second bag and dunked it in a bowl of water to see how long it took to decompose. 10 days have passed and the bag is the same as when I put it in the water except itโ€ฆ

    Great biodegradable bags to help the environment!

    Like you, I try to make changes to limit my impact on the environment. Switching to biodegradable bags is a great decision. I've seen some bad reviews for not being "compostable". I think what these people don't understand is that compost doesn't have to be in a bag โ€” it needs air, moisture, and enzymes to turn the stuff into soil. "Biodegradableโ€ means that it breaks down so its contents can be composted or broken down, with less going to landfill. I believe they are durable. No leaks orโ€ฆ

    STRONGLY REGRET buying these bags

    I am extremely skeptical of all the environmental claims this Revain site is making about these bags. There is absolutely nothing on the packaging itself that indicates the certification. Just a big "MADE IN CHINA". This company is NOT listed by the Biodegradable Foods Institute (BPI) nor could I find any company listed on the OK COMPOST HOME certification. There is nothing on the foridco.com website related to these bags or their environmental claims. Those are just green plastic bags. Ifโ€ฆ
