I absolutely love this hair straightener! Based on my observations, it heats up quickly and evenly, which helps me to achieve beautiful, sleek hair without damaging it. I bought it from this link last week. I love the Conair Infiniti product line. Tumble dryers run quietly and well. Curling irons are great, as are flat irons. I even like the brushes. Conair's technology isn't working. When I saw that they were offered in a limited edition with Swarovski crystals my heart leapt because I love Swarovski and I thought it looked really good. Recently (December 10, 2009) I bought this as a Christmas present and received it quickly. I didn't open the box until I was ready to pack it and found it without the wooden crate. I can't rate the product yet (Christmas gift) but the picture shows it without the case. Once we use it I will update the review. How deceptive is that?
