I bought these hair clippers for myself, a male in his 30's, because I have recently cut off my very long hair that has been growing for years, almost all of my adult life long. But I was beginning to gather courage, so I realized the time had finally come. I just cut everything off and completely shaved my head. There are blades, check, noise, check, but actually it doesn't cut anything. Your hair will get caught in the blades and then be pulled out when you move the clippers away from your head Human hair will not be cut. I just got my hair cut from them during the quarantine pandemic. Very nicely cut, all the necessary tools for cutting were there. The included apron is junk quality and will be thrown away after a single use. The bonds that held him together fell from him almost immediately. The taper controls were confusing for my wife. She didn't understand why we needed this when we had all the attachments we needed.

clipper was light and easy to use. I had a problem that they don't cut well. I wear my hair very short but it was difficult to cut it properly. I had to make multiple passes and there were still areas that weren't cut cleanly. I even drove very slowly. I've had Conair clippers before and they cut MUCH better. They still worked, but the #1 cutting tool wouldn't stay in place. I would not recommend these.

Replaced an older device that used a rechargeable nickel cadmium battery that did not hold a charge and continued to function when plugged in. This hair clipper is powerful and gets the job done perfectly. It has the same rails that snap onto scissors and support lengths from 1/8" to 1". The hair clipper is slightly heavier, probably due to the more powerful motor. Cutting hair takes some practice.
