Black, not purple

The photo shows a purple comb, but I have a black one. I bought the same comb from Walgreens and loved it but lost it. I was very happy to find a similar comb on Amazon as I couldn't find a replacement at my local Walgreens. The comb is similar to my previous one but doesn't feel as strong. This comb is a bit flexible and my previous one didn't bend at all, which I really liked. Overall I give 4 stars. Would give it a 5 if it was purple.

Pros
  • Conair product
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

That's why I only gave this hairbrush three stars.

I only gave this comb three stars because of the price. After I ordered it and it arrived, I found the same comb at my local Dollar General Store for only $2, so obviously overpriced. I bought two more from the dollar store for a rainy day!

Pros
  • Plastic
Cons
  • Durability

Fragile but good replacement for a Wen comb

I was looking for a comb with the same teeth as my Wen combs which were starting to lose teeth. It's a pretty good substitute, but it's a lot thinner and flimsier than Wen's combs. So far none of the teeth have fallen off, which is probably due to the fact that it's more flexible than the Wen comb, so I think that's a compromise.

Pros
  • Conair Styling Essentials Wide Tooth Comb
Cons
  • Style 90
