Buy it. Best in Category Fish & Aquatic Pets

They are far superior to felt socks in my opinion. They catch dirt and are sooooo easy to clean. Never again with those felt socks, I'm a convert.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

labor saving! About filter accessories

I was just starting to go back to my old felt socks until I found these. Wow, easy to clean, good price, cleaning time has been greatly reduced. The old-fashioned felt material may still be there, but I like these nylon socks better.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some problems

Clogs easily with fish and aquatic animals

My water in my 200 gallon reef (bare bottom) is fairly clear and clean. But these filters clog up within 2-3 weeks, no longer let water through and overflow unfiltered into my pan. They're pretty easy to clean, but cleaning every 2 weeks gets a little tiring. The 200 micron felt socks never wrinkled or let water through and only got dirtier over time.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Legacy model

Very important. Easy to clean.

Doesn't fit perfectly but I think with all those mesh pockets. I've ordered from BRS and SaltwaterAquarium and they don't fit perfectly either. I'm assuming they're all from the same manufacturer at the moment and that's just branding. Very easy to clean although it washes out quickly in my sink. Each sachet (75 microns) will last approximately 3-4 days before needing to be replaced. I now have 4 to alternate between each cleaning but will be ordering 2 more as a backup. Quality seems good…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Some flaws
