Completely useless: Accessories

This rod cover does not fit round rods. The foam does not split, so when gravity becomes useless, the foam pad immediately falls under the bar.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Will do what is necessary.

Good product. Installation is slightly different. The packaging looks great and is closed at both ends. The only problem is that the crossbar has to go through the ends. Had to work around the ends to get it working. Still works fine.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Frequency

Battle for Accessories

If your bars are about three inches wide, brace yourself for trouble. The foam inside wants to return to its tube insulator shape instead of lying on top of the crossbar. The width of the nylon sleeve requires that the foam compress when you wrap the bottom. The Velcro straps barely overlap to hook and hold the lid. Certainly "aerodynamic" as it hugs the crossbars very closely. Not sure if the tight hook and loop engagement is enough to hold the pads in place while the yak is being pushed.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Fits my surfboards

The foam is perfect for my surfboards. I buy two pairs of 19" spacers to place my boards next to each other, 2x2. Long boards over 9 feet and short boards. Also, no holes have to be made in the coating material. Open the velcro, pull the foam. from the pockets at each end, place the foam on the stand, wrap and secure the velcro sleeve over the foam. I wouldn't use them for anything heavy like a kayak. Thanks also to the seller for getting the second pair out quickly after I informed him that Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
