I bought this product to run a cable from my HDTV rooftop antenna to my main cable that connects my whole house. High quality product and weather resistant. If you live in the Northeast with a lot of snow on the roofs, you need a good quality cable to get a good signal for years to come. This product delivers! I would recommend this product to anyone installing an HDTV antenna and running this cable across their roof.

I used this RG6 on an HDTV rooftop antenna. The crash barrier is exceptional, but not super stiff. I installed it on a cool day and it was still flexible enough for easy cable management, but the mesh guard is very tight. All channels within a 35 mile radius have a density between 50% and 95%. I would advise you before starting your project. . Unwind the entire roll first to eliminate kinks. The roll is tightly wound and needs to be loosened, especially if it can be done in a sunny place.

I connected the terrestrial antenna from the roof to the coaxial cable coming from my house to receive free terrestrial TV channels. . This cable is strong and malleable which allows me to easily route the cable on the roof and around the house. The plugs are well made and firmly pressed to the cable. This allows us to easily receive several HD channels. Very happy with this purchase

The cable also provides an excellent signal over 100 feet. However, I had to splice the cable and was very surprised to see how greasy it was inside under the outer jacket. I'm assuming it's some sort of outdoor caulking, which is great, except I'm running it through the walls to an antenna in the attic, so it's not exactly a desirable perk in my situation. Great price, used for my roof antenna. Reason for purchase is weather sealing. At first glance, it looks like a great cable. and much more. But if the wire is wound, it will be damaged. If you straighten the wire, you'll notice huge drops in signal. Also, like other messages, the wire is pierced. and curved.
