Ideal for pool swimming

Swim about 5 hours a week in an outdoor pool in bright sunshine with a variety of goggles. This is by far the highest quality of all, in every respect. I have a reflex lens and can see clearly above and below the water.

Pros
  • 100% UV Protection
Cons
  • New Competitors

Doesn't fit my face

These beautiful quality goggles. I have two Cressi snorkel masks that fit me but these goggles are too big for my face. It doesn't fit the sides of my nose so I'll be returning it and trying a different model.

Pros
  • Designed and made in Italy by Cressi, a pioneer in diving, snorkeling and swimming equipment since 1946.
Cons
  • Working Speed

Bought 3, mixed results

Bought 3 of these for a family outing. The strap broke on one when our son first used it; I would have returned it but he threw it away before I could return it. The 2nd was used a little, not for the whole trip but ok. We haven't used the third yet.

Pros
  • Scratch and Shatter Resistant
Cons
  • Doubtful

Reliable quality / Comes with case

They were replacing glasses that had lasted over 10 years so the bar was set high. First impressions are that they will be just as good/more comfortable than their predecessors. An added bonus was that they came with a durable/very comfortable case which I wasn't expecting. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Internal anti-fog treatment
Cons
  • Not sure

Not suitable for Asian faces

Quality swimming goggles but not designed for Asian faces or those with high cheekbones and small noses. My cheekbones hold my glasses up over the bridge of my nose, allowing water to seep through my nose. I've tried tightening it to the point where my face hurts and the water is still coming out. Maybe that's because of the one-piece lens. I'm going to try the Saturn Crystal as it has two lenses and hopefully suits my face better.

Pros
  • Ideal mask for recreational and open water swimming
Cons
  • Price crazy money

Lenses have gone crazy in a year with a small

They are very comfortable and don't leak but my lenses went crazy just over a year ago. The rubber and strap are fine but you can't see anything through the lenses (and these are NOT scratches). I don't let them lie in the sun or let them sit in the pool. They are stored in a closed container near the pool. It only happened in winter and I can't explain why. Now I've just ordered a new set as they don't leak and are comfortable but wish they would last longer or at least have spare lenses…

Pros
  • silicone strap provides a secure and stable fit
Cons
  • Expensive

Swimming goggles - Cressi

First, I have been diving for over 50 years and regularly swim with a snorkel. I used the Seal mask and liked it until it was forgotten on a recent trip. Couldn't find it locally as many of our old sporting goods stores are closed. So I gave Cressi a try as I have a great diving mask from them. But the first swim in the pool caused leaks around the mask. I don't think the silicone pad is enough to wrap around the eye sockets far enough to ensure a snug fit. They fit well, with a good seal when…

Pros

Cressi swim masks prevent fogging

I first bought 2 of these Cressi swim masks. One of them worked great to prevent fogging but the second stopped working after about 2 rounds. I exchanged it for another 1 and it was bad too. I bought the next one and it had the same fogging problem. I was tired of buying new ones so I bought a bottle of TYR fog spray from my local sporting goods store and it did a good job of preventing fogging. What I love about these masks is that they work very well. good fit (for me) and virtually no leaks.

Pros
  • Maximum peripheral vision
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
