Cuisinart 12-Piece Ceramic Coated Knife Set (Model: C55-12PCERK) Review

Great knife set for the price. We have ceramic pans and I thought ceramic knives would be a nice addition. I don't put mine in the dishwasher because I don't put my ceramic pans in the dishwasher.

12 pack is misleading, knives are quite dull, slicing a tomato is more like skinning but as a second set of Van knives they are mediocre at best.

for a year. They work very well and do not need to be sharpened. I use them every day. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the white finish is peeling off, probably due to overuse. Would definitely buy them again if I need to replace a set I already have. Cuisinart never disappoints.

A good first set of knives for those who are just starting their own business. Good quality and feel, I can't wait for them! Despite other comments about misdescriptions, this is technically a 12-pack. What they mean is that there are 6 knives with 6 matching lids, so 12 in total. This may be somewhat misleading, but it is not wrong.

Extremely sharp! If you're not used to sharp knives, be careful until you get used to it! I've cut myself so many times - just because my old knife set was dumb as hell. But once you get used to it, it will make your life a lot easier. I've become faster, I cut better and more precisely. I love her!

Knives are very sharp and work well but I'm taking off a star for the packaging. All but the largest knives were wrapped in a protective sheet that came with each knife. However, the largest knife was in a hard plastic case and had no protective film on it. It was difficult to get the knife out of the case and I cut my finger with the knife in the process. Cuisinart needs to rethink packaging.

I've been using these knives for over a year and I still love them as much as the day I bought them. I like the aesthetics of them and the cases store easily in a desk drawer. I'm surprised they've stayed so clean over time. When you cut multi-colored vegetables such as carrot, sweet potato, beet, etc., the knife will show the color. However, with regular dish soap and a sponge it washes out completely, although to be honest I wash them straight away, I don't know how it will be if they are…
