Curt p/n 55378 for parts

Item received on time. P/N 55378 only applies to Toyota Tundra 01-02. Everything went without problems. Read the instructions first and everything will fall into place as it should. I just installed it, let's see how long it lasts. I don't tow that often, so I'll unsubscribe if there are any problems.

Installation was fairly easy but the product failed shortly after installing

Installation was fairly easy but the product failed shortly after installation. I bought it to tow a utility trailer (up to 1500#) that will be used from time to time. The first CURT T connector failed after about 3 months. I was able to get a quick response through website support and was given a replacement unit. I used a few more times before winter with no problems. I recently got my trailer from storage but couldn't get the CURT-T connector to work (all wires show 12V). I submitted a…

Simple but not durable

is a similar product. This is exactly what I need to hook up trailer lights to my Tundra. I didn't get a factory coupler, but the front-to-back wiring is already there. You just have to snap 2 connectors and that's it! Took me 30 minutes (I read and re-read the instructions to be sure). The only thing I should note is that my 2002 Tundra has the connector on the driver's side, not the passenger's side (as described in the manual). Addendum: Doesn't work anymore after a few years.
