Not bad for the money but needs improvement.

Couldn't get it to work until I tilted my head 45 degrees. Then I noticed that it was necessary to clean or replace the blades more often than I had anticipated. For the price and for my first slicing tool, I'm happy, but will upgrade once the pack of included blades is gone.

Feels great in the hand, but that's about it.

The one I tried had a wooden handle. Nicely made, feels good in the hand but doesn't work very well. I could cut around the edges but I need a knife to get the material out of the middle of my material and it didn't. As someone else pointed out, he also uses custom blades. Good luck finding these

Pros
  • Leatherworking accessories
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The blades don't seem to cut it!

Tried to use it and it didn't seem very sharp. It's in the skin! I tried using it on both sides of the skin and it came out the same. I don't think the replacement blades are very sharp. The grip is just fine. Comfortable and pleasant to the touch. But the proof is in the conclusion, and I'm not impressed. Why not make a handle for vintage double-edged blades? That way I can get knives I don't need on special order.
