Better than factory cuts; Made in Italy

For the price, this is an impressive blade. Carbide teeth, thin kerf. I use this on a Dewalt 779 (780) miter saw. The balance in the frame feels perfect. The cuts are smoother than I expected from a $50 blade. The lumber yards and saws in the big stores are no match for the end product they can deliver. Flushing is minimal. He did very well with the red oak. White wood and pine are also smooth.

Pros
  • Tri-metal soldering for high-impact tips
Cons
  • Nothing here

One of the best chop saw upgrades you can make.

If you're wondering whether or not to get a Diablo blade, stop and just do it, you'll grow more with the cuts you make with one of their blades than be satisfied. I have had many different blade sizes on different types of saws and they have all been great. Good, clean cuts all the time and very few, if any, breaks on the bottom or back of the piece. Of course, you can probably spend more on other companies' fine-toothed blades, but you don't have to, these are great for everything from 2x4โ€ฆ

Clean but imprecise cuts

I was and always have been a fan of Freud's (and therefore Diablo ) products. I have purchased Freud/Diablo cutters, Forstner cutters and saw blades in the past and have always been happy with their products. This blade ended this series. While the blade is quite good and produces smooth cuts, the accuracy leaves a lot to be desired. My problem is how thin the saw blade is. A thin notched blade, like the blade it replaced, but I was surprised at how much thinner the plate itself was. I foundโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ultra fine laser kerf gives a very fast, strong and clean cut
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine
