I needed an iPad pencil holder that would actually fit and cover the entire iPad. I didn't trust others where you just stick a pencil in and it's open at the top. Looks like the pencil might fall out at any moment. This is the best I've found and you can't beat the price. There's even room for a small UCB-C (headphone) adapter that easily wraps around the iPad 12.9 version.

The most important factors for me were the zipper and the elastic. I had a previous pencil holder that didn't have a clasp for an apple pencil that ended up losing that pencil. This time I was determined to buy a holder that the pencil would not fall out of. This item is perfect. The Apple Pencil fits perfectly and securely. My only downside is that I wish there was a little more room so I could put a cap on the tip of the pencil to protect it.

Mainly used for iPad Pro 12.9 (5th Gen) in Magic Keyboard Case. The only reason I bought it is because my Magic Keyboard case doesn't have a secure slot to store your stylus so it doesn't fall apart. It is tight and there is no play. The pencil is stored safely and when I use it I can leave it on the iPad and when I travel I put it in the case without fear of losing it. This is a great product that is good value for money. Cases with pen slots already included may not require this product.
