Very nice set of high quality scissors. They are very sharp and quite heavy. They think they can take a hit and fight back. The steel finish is attractive and durable. The nutcracker and bottle opener are a nice touch, as is the saw for what I consider thick bones. Very good deal at $7.

I have been using these scissors for about 1 week for general kitchen work. They did a great job cutting through plastic packaging, cardboard, vegetables, etc. I don't particularly like the circular cover that covers the intersection of the two blades as scissors are more difficult to clean. However, at less than $10, I couldn't expect any kitchen shears to be better than these.

Well made, cuts are sharp and clean. Used scissors for multiple tasks. for opening packages and cutting paper first, and then for cutting vegetables, as well as for poultry, skin and soft bones. I love the nutcracker feature and can't wait to try it. We are used to opening a bottle of beer with great results. They are stable, durable and easy to use. The handle is comfortable, I am satisfied with kitchen scissors.

I bought these scissors to replace kitchen scissors and love the style and that they have a blade guard on the end. They are very sharp and will cut through cardboard, meat etc. My big complaint is that the handles are hard plastic and not very comfortable to use. These would be 5 star scissors if they had skin-friendly rubberized handles. These are pretty good scissors but I wouldn't recommend them due to the discomfort of using them.

Our popular scissors are broken. Strange. The plastic handle came off and when we tried to glue it back on it just wouldn't hold. So we needed something that would do a wide range of needs, from opening pouches to slicing food - long leafy greens and meat. Yes, I've actually used them for slicing cooked steak cuts and raw chicken (washed in between). The handle is comfortable to use, so far the scissors have outperformed everything I've used them for. It also has a bottle opener. highlighted.

These are good kitchen scissors at a great price ($6.99). I've used them and put them in the dishwasher and they seem to be holding up well so far. They're not the strongest or most comfortable pair of kitchen scissors I've owned, but they do the job perfectly for the price. Ideal for a starter set or a second set.
