Spend extra money and get an updated model.

Knife does not regrind. Send back. I have two other Dalstrong knives that are fine. Don't know what's wrong with this model?

Dalstrong Excellent customer service

Recently ordered one of these to add to my collection. Great knife, just boring. I emailed Dalstrong customer service and they did everything they could to resolve the issue including sending a replacement. The new knife was very sharp when it arrived and to this day I am a happy Dalstrong customer! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great boning knife.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Don't buy for beauty.

Easy to hold - light. The handle looks good, but nothing prevents fingers from slipping onto the blade and cutting yourself. If you work in a butcher shop like me, your pen WILL GET REALLY FAT, ESPECIALLY if you work with pork or very fatty beef. cutting table. Pretty? Yes. Useful? Yes. but could be better developed for those of us who use boning knives for work every day. "Nice" does not protect against injuries due to "nice" design without safety handles. 🤷‍♀️

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

No other knife

I have used many knives from almost every make of manufacture money can buy. I have never used such knives and I recommend them to everyone. I will always buy Dalstrong. Excellent quality and don't let the edge of the box fool you. Not only is it sharp, but it's at the perfect angle to keep it sharp for a very long time. I don't usually name names, but if you're looking to buy a set and are stuck between Victorinox or Dalstrong. Buy Dalstrong and get lifetime knives and unparalleled customer…

Great knife, one flaw

This is a beautiful knife, holds the blade very well, sharp as a deakin but if you use this knife or plan to use it commercially it has a flaw, it fits perfectly for slicing, easily rolls bones and has excellent properties. flex to get into hard-to-reach spots and odd angles, but once you get it down to the killing ground it's on par with other great knives until you progress to chopping off beef legs. The joints are stiff and will flex the tip of this knife if you try to score and slice too…

Pros
  • Bought it finally
Cons
  • No paint required

Would be great, falls short

The tip of the knife is rounded. Not the sharp end needed to clean the fish. I don't know if it broke in transit or what, but the product photos show a very sharp spot. The case that comes with it is a joke too. I can perhaps understand why the tip broke when the loose square case was pushed in. It could be great. The blade of the knife was sharp, looks great and had a strong package next to the "sheath". Very disappointed. I'll order a replacement and maybe try to find or make a sheath that…

Pros
  • The best in his niche
Cons
  • Makes me angry
