They are easy to place and use but the color and glow is dull and NOT warm at all. They are bluish white and some are VERY VERY dull. Of the 10 I bought, two are almost so dark and gray (when the light can be really gray) that I'm not even sure they should even be put in a window. My house doesn't look like the warm, cozy Christmas picture I envisioned, but I spent $70 on it, so I guess I'm stuck in an incredibly cold, dark house. I love these candles. 8 hours work, 16 hours rest. Warm white, non-flickering "flame". I have 1 in each window and several in each room of the house. They look great outside, glow great indoors at night; perfect for shading. They are not bright enough for reading, but you can still see the room. Hello, I was hoping to use these rechargeable candles. Most rechargeable batteries provide 1.2 volts, not 1.5 volts for new alkaline batteries. I charged ten candles with fully charged Sanyo eneloop NICH batteries. The 5 candles were bright enough to be used with rechargeable batteries. 4 of the remaining candles were too weak to use.
