The toner is not an aqueous mixture, it has a silky texture with a pleasant smell. I used it after washing with "Black Mud" soap, after which the face was pleasantly moisturized. Texture. The bottle is a good size so I don't have to rush to order, but I'm happy with the H&B products I've ordered and I think they're keepers.
