Works for me - power tools

For those who only use the sander occasionally and for very common tasks, this product is a very economical solution. I can understand why this isn't for everyone, but for the non-critical use I'm in, it's a good solution. I had no problem keeping the sandpaper in place.

Pros
  • Includes easy-to-use paperclips
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Great grinder, the best of the power and hand tools

I have several electric grinders and this is my favorite places to use it. This is a 1/3 disc sander, which means you can cut three separate sheets of sandpaper for one sander from a standard size sheet of sandpaper. What I particularly like is that it doesn't lose traction on sheets of sandpaper during use. Great for use on wood but I don't recommend using it on drywall, drywall dust ruined the motor in one of mine.

Pros
  • Two handed design for maximum comfort and ease of use
Cons
  • Not automatic

Sand smooth

This Black and Decker sander is the basic sander for the home. It's lightweight so you won't get tired of using it. A good household appliance for the price. I wanted to use it for sanding drywall joints, which produces a lot of fine dust, so I was glad it had a vacuum attachment option. The problem was that nobody sells 8-hole sandpaper for use with a vacuum nozzle. Second, no one sells a vacuum nozzle, so that's another downside to what I wanted. Solution: cut regular sandpaper into three…

Pros
  • Large sander, ideal for sanding large areas
Cons
  • Out of fashion
