🔥 DeLonghi TRD40615T Full Room Radiant Heater - Mechanical, White - 10"x15"x26 Review

Heats well. The timer is great for waking me up a little warmer than freezing. About a month after I bought it, the timer started making an audible *ticking* noise, loud enough to bother me while I was trying to sleep or do something quiet. . I bought this heater to replace a much louder heater and I use the loud one instead because the ticking is enough to get angry.

I have two of these heaters, each in a 12 x 12 foot room. I have bought them to heat my 800 square foot apartment since Covid started due to the forced air heat flowing through all the apartments in this building. This is by far the best heater I have ever owned. It is filled with oil and therefore absolutely silent. Perfect for use in a bedroom or similar space, it is large enough to heat an entire room to a comfortable state without wasting much energy. Many reviewers commented on the smell, which (I agree) is a bit strong. initially, but that's to be expected with a new heater. We only keep it because it's too cumbersome to return. However, the timer feature is incredibly wonky and I still haven't confirmed whether it works or not, and I'm quite a 'tech savvy' person (although I understand it's not 'technology' per se). I am posting this review primarily to refute another reviewer's erroneous claim which may be causing confusion and dissatisfaction with the heater.
