The device works well once you know what to do with it. There are practically no instructions. I use it to run two 48v fans from my 12v power supply. It works great.

I've tried using it to anodize titanium but to no avail. It put out high voltage as advertised, although as soon as it saw 700mA it hissed and then shorted out. I would not recommend this product.

This is a very noisy boost converter. I'm trying to run it from 12v to 180v with a relatively low current draw and it generates a tremendous amount of noise where it can't be used in my home electronics project.

Although this power supply claims 45-390 volts, it actually produces two identical outputs: +45 to +390 VDC and -45 to -390 VDC simultaneously, the maximum difference is 780 V. Two sockets track more Or less. A precision potentiometer with 25 turns sets the output voltage. The output is not floating but tied to a common input ground.
