These pants just arrived and I was pleasantly surprised. While not technically 16 Slim, they are still slim enough for my son who has long legs and is very skinny. The pants are very well made and fit perfectly for his band's concert. The waist is a little big, but nothing that can't be fastened with a belt. There's even some room for growth.

I've scoured the world looking for pants for my bean son—skinny ones get harder and harder to find the bigger they get. These are regular skinny pants, too small for my skinny son. You have to go back! Unfortunately all true to size pants are sold in expensive stores and I hate it!

I bought these pants for my 7 year old son and in less than two weeks he had a hole in his right knee. I know he's rough on the clothes, but they were too big and expensive to tear.

When I ordered them (this was my third attempt at 16 Slim) the size drop down list said 16 Slim. When they arrived they were normal but slim. My 11 year old son is 5ft 4" and 95lbs and they just need to 'get it ready' as he needs something for an upcoming choir recital. The length is perfect, but the waist is about 2+ inches longer and is NOT adjustable. :-(

Very durable trousers. I bought them for my son for school. The first pair I bought lasted most of the school year. The first area to show wear was the knees. My son is a slim 7 so I trimmed the waist a bit, the pants were a good length.

I have ordered these pants three times. When I first ordered three, all 10 are thin, they all fit perfectly. The second time I ordered a pair in the same size, they were HUGE. The third time I ordered a pair, the same size, they weren't as big as the second order but larger than the first. If the sizes were the same I would give these pants five stars.

My son is around 80 pounds so it's difficult to find pants that are long enough and not too big in the waist. Don't get me wrong, he still has a large waist and needs to wear a belt, but not as big as most. They really hold their shape and wear well.

The pants were very long but could easily be shortened. The biggest problem is that they were mislabeled. One label said "thin" while others, either printed or attached to the pants, said "regular". Aside from the size and markings, the pants were attractive, well-tailored, and of good color.

I am really disappointed with the description of this item. These are not thin at all. It's a straight-leg slim that doesn't look like a real slim pant at all. My son is very skinny and can only wear Slim. I bought these for a Christmas party because the size couldn't be found in the store, when I received them they were the same as what I was able to find in the store. Wasn't happy but had to wear them until then or they would have been returned. I agree the main description says Slim Straight

It's quite heavy material, but we like it because it lasts longer. They wash very well, hardly wrinkle and the crease is still there even after several washes.

I've never had this problem, but the order was for 4 tight pants. I received 4 pairs of regular pants. I missed the return deadline (didn't know there was a deadline) and they are now being donated to charity. Never.

I found the size 8S very confusing in the size dropdown. Now I understand that these pants are not tight, just normal. May require frequent ironing or pressing!

My very tall 8 year old needed solid color pants for his Montessori environment. They are always on the move, most of their activities are performed on the ground. These pants will still look new after many wears and washes.

These were for my grandson's wedding. He's usually slim at 7. He just bathed in this 7 Slim! He's a big kid for his age and they've been on him for a really long time too. To return.

Perfect size, my 8 year old was 7 and having a growth spurt. I ordered an eight and it's long and the color goes perfectly with his old uniform pants!

My son loves these pants, they are his favorite pants. He skateboards so likes the fit and comfort as well as the great quality.

So I was looking for cheap uniform pants. I searched everywhere, I was very surprised to find shirts for less than $5, I thought it was some kind of dream. Well I ordered 8 pairs of size 18, I was very afraid that they would not fit me when they arrived, I opened them without hesitation but when I tried on a pair I was amazed to see these 8 I only wear 2 pairs, haven't worn any other pants I have, they are so good, I know these pants will last, I'm glad I stocked up before they sold out!

They are strong and thin - they look crushed even if left on the bedroom floor overnight. My son is very slim and they fit great - high waisted so if you have a child who wants to wear everything very low this won't work. They looked great at an orchestral concert which was the goal. Also used as a costume for a very petite 14 year old girl.

Based on the other reviews I knew they would be a bit loose. They fit him exactly how I wanted, just a little room to grow and the perfect length. I am very comfortable.
