🐠 12/16mm CO2 Diffuser & Reactor: Atomizer Bubble Counter for Aquarium Plants, Fish Tank Accessory - Aquarium CO2 Diffuser for Effective CO2 Dissolution Review

Looks like a decent diffuser. I like this design more than the more traditional smoked plastic in-line diffusers. The hose clamps appear to be of good quality. I change diffusers about every six months and it usually takes a couple of cycles to see if one lasts. However, so far so good. Please note that the entire product is made of plastic. The photo looks like aluminum. It is not. It doesn't bother me much, but others might be disappointed.

I noticed right away that the fittings were smaller than my 5/8" filter hoses but luckily I had a smaller hose from an old filter and I can use them as adapters with hose clamps. Product photos show two different sizes but no option to choose from. Installation took only a few minutes and I installed it very close to my filter outlet. It was initially leaking in the center port so I removed and disassembled. I smeared some clean silicone grease on the o-rings and reinstalled with no leaks.At…

Run it without CO2 for 10 hours to ensure it is fully absorbed. Then apply CO2 as instructed. Works very well to prevent the CO2 bubbles from being very visible to the eye about 1-2ft backwards.
