🧺 DII Bright Utility Floursack Dishtowel, Set of 4 - Vibrant and Practical Kitchen Towels (88762) Review

DII Classic all-purpose flour cloth, 4-pack. Like old-fashioned kitchen towels, they absorb moisture well, are large, light and dry quickly. They are made from 100% cotton. and colors work for us.

These kitchen towels are just what I love. They are very thin and tall. I can use them not only for drying dishes, but also for other purposes. I bought the exact same thing at the Kitchen Store in Branson and then finally found them at Revain. They were exactly the same kitchen towels and a lot cheaper.

I like these colors. leg and other details. People forget that old practitioners used what they had. They didn't have fashion stores or online shops and usually had very little money for everything including everyday necessities.

So disappointed. They are thin and the edges are already falling apart after the first wash. They feel like cheap crumpled cotton, not at all like the flour-dusted kitchen towels I have. One is an odd color after washing so it might bleed, but I don't know how that happened because they've never sat wet on top of each other. Not even good enough to give away. Too bad. Such a thin fabric could pierce a hole.

, I was looking for crispy flour bag towels. I planned to add applique and embroidery to spice it up. While functionally good towels and the colors are bright and cheerful, they are VERY MINT. After spending a lot of time ironing one of these, it turned out to be more wrinkled than I wanted. I have washed and decorated many towels in flour sacks and others have never been so wrinkled. Again good for functionality. as long as you are okay with the wrinkled look.

I ordered 3 sets of these "flour bag" towels as they were a solid color instead of the usual white. Upon receiving and opening one of the packages, it was apparent that the fabric was nothing more. as a crumpled, elastic gauze fabric, hemmed and made in Pakistan. Nothing beats the flour bag towels I've used in the kitchen all my life. They do not absorb water and therefore cannot be used to dry dishes in the kitchen. I bought these for drying dishes along with matching microfiber towels and tea towels from DII. I liked the matching towels and utensils but they are terrible. I can't get them wet at all or I'll be left with colored fluffy balls everywhere. I thought they would stop shedding after a few washes but no. They're also wrinkled no matter what you do with them.
