We recently fell in love with a simple little panama hat. I always keep one in my bag as it's great to have on hand. The first one I bought was cotton so a great sun hat but got wet quickly in the rain. It also withstands the rain. Really can not be defeated how to take cover.

Bought for my 7th grader for Christmas. He got it right. But I tried to save money by skipping Zumi and buying it from Amazon. Fail. I should have spent the money elsewhere for better quality. This particular material wasn't what we were hoping for. This is a cheaper, thinner polyester material. You get what you pay for.

I got a hat yesterday but it was raining. I bought a hat to wear to work because I work outdoors. The hat kept my head dry and the water just dripped off the hat. The seller has a measure of the size of the hat. Please read before purchasing because it was accurate. I wear a snug fitting 7 5/8 hat and this hat is more like a 7 1/2 but stretches as I wear it. Great waterproof hat!

High quality, handsome and very light. Adding water resistance. Two things: I wish it had an adjustable top drawstring to fit any head size. Another thing, if you don't tighten the chin strap, it may fall off. I ordered the chin strap separately for two dollars with a clip on each end. I do like this bucket hat though, excellent quality and very light.

I would like my edges to be stiffer than the picture shows, but they aren't. It was very wavy and collected more lint than any lint roller I've ever had. So I just let the neighbor's dog chew on it.

Judging by the positive reviews, the fit of this hat may have changed recently. I usually wear a 7-3/8 and this hat is so loose that it covers my eyes when I'm sitting up. It would be blown away by the slightest breeze. It's a shame because otherwise the quality is okay.

Me and some friends go hiking in the Red River Gorge every year and every year it rains at some point. This year was no different. This hat saved me from a little rain, but then it started to rain heavily. When that happened, that hat got wet, as did my head. It's not waterproof so I'll be back.
