Brass fittings cracked trying to install.

Unfortunately the brass fitting broke when I tried to connect it to the refrigerant line. Because the brass piece broke I couldn't use the other pieces to finish the job. Maybe I just received a bad copper item.?

super easy. - Fluid line repair kits

I used these to block the back of the air conditioning unit on my 12ft E350 van. I found where the line forked and within 12 inches of the T I cut the lines with an L-profile pipe cutter and then sanded them down to ensure smoothness. I had the local handyman evacuate the AC before cutting the lines and they did a vacuum test before pumping it back up. Since then, the air conditioning has been blowing cold! I am very happy with this blocker. I used threadlock on the threads and some PAG 46…
