🔧 Dorman M39500 New Brake Master Cylinder: Superior Performance and Durability for Optimal Braking Review

What the Crap Installed in early August and it started failing about 2 weeks ago, noticed the pedal going up and down, had to start bleeding the brakes. Now I can't drive my truck. I do not recommend it to anyone. It was installed on my 87 4runner. Oh, and the best part is I can't return it.

I bought this master cylinder for a 1981 Toyota pickup. When I received this master cylinder for my pickup truck I can say that this is a good quality master cylinder. This master cylinder showed no signs of leaks or loss of hydraulic pressure as a cheap remanufactured/remanufactured master cylinder would. After many miles with the Dorman master cylinder it is holding up well and I would definitely buy another for my other Toyota pickup. If anyone is reading this please don't buy those cheap…

I installed this on my 87 Toyota pickup two years ago and replaced my original Toyota master cylinder. I've driven the truck almost exactly 3000 miles since installing this MC and recently I've noticed that the seals are starting to leak and the pedal is starting to sag when I'm sitting on the headlights. The Toyota MC lasted 130,000 miles from 1987 to 2015. Doorman MC, 2015-2017, 3,000km. I'd be better off just buying a rebuild kit for my OEM but I'm too lazy. Now you will definitely regret…

I bought this item to replace the brake master cylinder on my 1988 Toyota pickup that was leaking. It's been about 6 months since I installed the product and it works great. I would have given 5 stars if I hadn't had the installation issue. I used the part selection tool so I was expecting a replacement.
