Straight to the point.

Sometimes you can save a few cents here and there but you don't get good results. This is a prime example of why buying Dremel brand cut-off wheels is worthwhile. These wheels are easy to change and offer not only enormous cutting power, but also efficiency. I tried a fake but they didn't wear it.

Best for small jobs. Not as durable

Score high for versatility, score low for durability. The inner metal ring that holds the disc to the instrument falls apart too easily. I spend a disk for each one I need to do. This works well for really small jobs. I was hoping for better close-up results if I didn't want to use an angle grinder. Glad to have them as an option but need extra stock in case they fall apart. I didn't erase any of the discs before the metal ring fell apart.

However, I was surprised that no particles stuck to the blade itself! It was clean and not a nuisance when I cut a hole in the sunroof's plastic frame. I then reamed the hole to better fit the tubes and…
