It was a bit big as mentioned by previous reviewers. I planned it and the dress was easy to pull up. I didn't want to lose the length so I just pinned the waist and zipper. It worked great. I recommend this dress.

I bought this for my tall thin 8 year old daughter for her first communion. Would be great BUT the lining was sewn on the outside and looked so weird! The rest of the dress was of surprisingly good quality, but someone screwed it up. In addition, the mileage is enormous. 8 is actually 8-9 (more like 9). I also ordered 6 so I hope it's done right!
