Fits great, no breakage

Wear them all day since day 1. They fit him perfectly and it's very hard to find a better work shoe that's wide and doesn't have a steel toe cap. We live in South Florida so water resistance usually means very HOT and HEAVY.

I bought my husband in Oxfords

first. My husband is an auto mechanic and would literally throw away a pair of shoes (they don't last as long as they should). For example, a pair of army-pattern black leather boots for initial training (purchased from a military unit). After 6 months, the shoes came off the sole. I buy about 4 pairs of shoes a year for him to change; so that the shoes last longer than a year. Now to these shoes. He wore them for 3 weeks. He is very impressed with them. He was a bit skeptical at first because…

My favorite shoes!

I am very sad that this shoe appears to have been discontinued. Now I have three pairs. I was referred to New Balance by my pediatrician who said I needed better support. So a few years ago I started wearing them with regular orthotics and my feet didn't hurt anymore. They have great support and come in any length/width you need. And they look nice and simple, but not too casual. I have one pair for the office, one pair for dirty work outside and such, and a third pair for everything else. I…

I'll say one thing: first, the laces are excellent

I bought the brown and black versions. For some reason brown loafers are making my left toes numb. Now looking back after 2 years. The brown shoes run small, my toes chafe and I can't wear them for more than 2 hours. The black shoes fit as they should but have stretched so much that they cannot put the shoes on tight enough. the sole is non-slip. I have to double-tie my shoelaces or they'll come undone.

Great shoe except tongue

I have had these shoes for 3 1/2 years now. Only now the sole is layered, but not very worn. A far cry from my last New Balance which lasted six months. I have narrow feet (9-1/2 B) and they fit great. The only catch (and it could be my feet or the fact that I like to lace them up tight) is that I have ulcers on my ankles just below my tongue. Shame as I really want to buy another pair and don't want to go back to New Balance. I think the garment is excellent, as is the fit and construction…

4.5* Great for me but might be too tight for someone else.

I wear a size 10, D to fit orthotics and I have a narrow left heel and this last feature makes it difficult for me to find the right shoes. Mostly the left heel slips. I have ordered 5 shoes through Revain.Com and Zappos.com which she bought a few years ago including big name brands like Ecco, Dansko, Rockport and Drew. They were all well made, but only the Dunhams were narrow enough to fit well. It fits me exceptionally well, but may be too tight for many. For people like me, this could be the
