Dynex Dx Swm2W Theater Speaker Mounts Review

Mechanical error. See figure Step 4, "Attaching the speakers” in the manual. However, the plastic is not strong enough. The screw goes through and renders the mount unusable. I was careful not to overtighten. I wanted to keep tightening until the speaker stopped slipping off my elbow. I noticed that the screw broke through the plastic. Over tightening means continuous tightening after 2 pieces are already fastened. Since they were never safe, I don't think overtightening was ever possible…
