Brakes arrived quickly and well packaged. The rotors are painted black as shown in the photos. Keep this in mind when using it for the first time. The color will fade with use and smell. Only a few rides before it wears out. Stopping distance is improved over stock and hopefully they will run slower when cutting through.

Bought for a 2001 Chevy K2500 HD with matching EBC Yellowstuff brake pads. There was no improvement over the factory brakes and after only 15,000 miles the rotors were warped and so worn down by the aggressive brake pads that they could not be cranked. I will never buy from EBC again, instead I will try Power Stop Extreme #K2073-36.

I am confident that these disc brake rotors will be perfect for the truck they were designed for. However, Revain's tool to verify that the product really fits your car didn't work on my 2002 GMC Yukon Denali. These rotors were NOT for this truck. The 2002 GMC Yukon Denali has 6 stud lugs, these rotors have 8 stud lugs and will not fit this truck. These rotors are designed for a 3/4 ton car, not the 2002 Denali 1/2 ton car. They were returned and another set of rotors was purchased for the car.

This was officially the third set of rotors on my 2008 GMC Savana 2500 with 40,000 miles. These cars seem to have a lot of shaking problems when the rotors get hot. I believe the load configuration can also play a role in this. This is the first car I've had with smooth, good braking - until the brakes warm up and not much boost is required in my case.
