🚗 Premium Engine Air Filter ECOGARD XA10236 for Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L DIESEL 2014-2019 Review

Although designed for my car, it was very difficult to install. It's just too big (thicker than the OEM part). I will no longer buy for my car. I just installed it so I have no idea on value for money or mileage at the moment.

Item number matches but item in box doesn't seem right. As you can see from the picture the filter is about 1/2 inch or so short and there is no way to seal it in the box. Also, the filter element does not have a part number for cross reference.

When installing this replacement filter, I noticed strands of adhesive coming off over the metal mesh. Upon closer inspection I noticed that there was too much glue in one corner of the filter which had probably seeped into the top of the filter at the factory. If I hadn't noticed this prior to installation, it's very likely that those streaks of peeling adhesive would have gotten into my air intake as they easily peeled away from the metal grille as soon as I noticed them. Took as long to install as it did to remove the old one. I left to see what I have to do later while my wife put on her shoes. When I removed the clips to see how easy it would be to remove the old one, I found I was only seconds away from removing it. So I took out the old one and tried on the new one in size. The price is right, but not the filter. Bought for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. The external dimensions fit perfectly and the filter has more folds than the standard filter supplied. The filter material is very similar to the standard. The problem occurs when the rear case is installed from above.
