High quality replacement part.

Make sure when you do this repair that you do it with an empty gas tank or you will have problems pumping gas. (big mess) Make sure you have rags handy!

Seems like a good filter if only I had the right car. Maybe for that. There should be a new truck in the future

I just bought stuff for the truck. Revain's "garage note" says it fits my 2004 Silverado. Turns out the truck doesn't have a spare filter AND you DON'T want to add an extra filter in line as it needs to be pulled harder which could affect the fuel system. Guilty - I 89%, AMZN 11%, Ecogard 0%

ECOGARD Fuel Filter xf33144

I'm trying to evangelize maintenance and I have an old Fram fuel filter on a 2001 GMC Sierra that I selectively changed when I upgraded the fuel pump . 8 years ago at 63000 now at 97000km I still have the same fuel filter there, too bad the truck is still mostly in the garage anyway, also the reason why the fuel pumps fail is because these fuel filters rust inside which is why you are no longer used after 2004, the electrical connector on the fuel pump in the fuel tank where it connects to the…
