Eheim AEH4005943 Tubing Aquarium 10 Feet Review

This is a standard Eheim vinyl tube. I have no idea how Eheim manages to make vinyl tubing that gets so stiff over time. None of the other vinyl tubing I have does this, but all Eheim (and Tunze) vinyl tubing and plastic-coated power cords have the same problem. I buy this stuff because it fits in the filters and doesn't grow a lot of algae inside.

Bought to replace the factory hoses that come with Fluval canister filters, everything fits perfectly. Perfect size to fit on the check valve fittings and still be able to thread the red lock nuts onto the pipe to secure it. The hose itself is very stiff but flexible, definitely not cheap like what you'll find at your local hardware store.

Very well made product and matches the filter I use but not this company. It fits very snugly on my canister filter (Fluval 207), fits well on the water heater, but I had trouble getting onto my glass pipes. Size 16/22mm if that matters. The only other question I have is how stiff the tube is. Any hard push and he wants to start a little kink. In general I recommend.
