Very strong and well built. Have held a charge for a long time. Has more power and is more powerful than the wired version I've used in the past. Great addition to my fish fillet tools.

Excellent Scaler. Works fast and saves time cleaning crappie. It also includes flight scale controls. However, if you use something sharp, you need to be careful with your fingers.

Used twice. Not very impressed. The previous model was significantly better. You need to acquire some skills and tricks to use this one. Inexperienced users will get nothing but headaches and disappointment.

Works very well but hard to scale the slats. The ribs are sucked in between the blade and the housing and the engine stops. Sometimes withdrawing is so hard that you have to change direction. I'll try removing the protection and see if it works better. I'm still covered in fish slime after a long day of fishing. If that doesn't work, I cut off the fins first. They are difficult to clean. I want the guard to take off without tools.

I just got this and only tried it once but wish I had learned something like this a few years ago. I opened it up and was pleasantly surprised at how durable it seems.
