Perfect for my grill/smoker Hisband

I bought this for my husband because he keeps stealing the shaker I keep my baking powder in. He likes it! Great are the different hole sizes and the fact that you can cover the holes to keep the grating dry! He told me he really likes it and he wasn't just going to say it like that. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • So so

Bought filled with coarse salt. It took about 2 months to use it all up, when it came time to refill the cap it was rusted to the body and couldn't be removed. Even after trying tools and a vise nothing I had could grip it well enough to remove the lid without damaging it. waste of money.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Without machine

Smoked BBQ Lover

Husband bought a smokehouse about a year ago. From then on he started making his own brushstrokes. I got this for him as a Christmas present and he has found many uses! It's a neat little gadget that gets the job done. The only downside was that the lid was a little tight and difficult to remove in one place, but it appears to have been an accident and hasn't happened since.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

Totally useless. Got 3 applications.

I had high hopes for this shaker but I am deeply disappointed. I've used it 3 times in total. After the third time I wanted to replace the existing grill grate with another one. The lid is not taken off for love or money. I mean it's absolutely sealed. No amount of twisting, pulling, prying, etc. will make it move. I see people in other reviews saying the lid comes off too easily. If only! Waste of money, not recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Quality design and the only downside I have is that the photos on the internet never show that the lid actually closes fully or that there are different hole sizes for different sized ingredients. or how much product you want to shake out at once. Because it's rust-free, it's easy to clean and won't pick up odors or stains from ingredients. Easy to use with many different ingredients without taking over from the previous one. This is a purchase for life.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Poor

Only time will tell if the price is worth the longevity.

All metal construction uses a friction ring instead of a threaded connection to attach the cover. I used this once with a Brown Sugar Rub for my Boston buttocks. The largest selection of holes allowed me to achieve an even distribution of seasoning on the meat. I think the price is a bit high for what you get, but if it's enough for many uses then I think it should be worth the cost. I cleaned the inside and outside before pouring my spices in because I had a black finger from running it across

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • No Mold Required

Too small and doesn't close completely.

I am returning this shaker. First, it's smaller than it looks in the picture. It's only about 2 inches tall and only holds 1 cup (my mistake, I didn't catch that in the description). The handle looks like you could wrap your hand around it, but it's actually only about 2-3 fingers wide. Second, the lid doesn't close completely so it doesn't form a seal to keep your condiments or whatever fresh. When you twist the lid to close it, the small rib at the top slides over the groove cut underneath…

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost never

Very useful best bar and wine tool

I use a lot of dry spice mixes (a/k/a rubs); I make most of these, but there are also commercial ones that I use. I keep them all in 8 ounce shaker bottles. Everything is fine except when I need to spice up something big. These "flip tops" are not suitable for even distribution over large areas. Knowing that this smart shaker was designed by Elizabeth Carmel, author of several of my favorite outdoor cookbooks, made product selection easy. And this thing really works! The user can choose from…
