Superb long winter coat

I am 1.60m tall and this black coat is a nice length. The hem of this coat hits about 3 inches above my ankles to my shins. Very happy with my purchase because long coats are very difficult to find for tall women. The quality seems very good and keeps you warm and I love the zipper design. When I put this coat on, I noticed that the multiple diagonal line design made me look a lot slimmer. So many of these down jackets make people look 20 pounds heavier. Very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Slim

I've been looking in local stores, trying to find a long coat. You see, I live in Chicago, the Windy City, and while we're soldiers in bad weather, we need to be properly prepared for it. Not only was the coat inexpensive, it fit like it was tried on in the store. Zipper=excellent, length=excellent, wind resistance=excellent. I recommend this coat to anyone who wants great quality, the right fit and an escape from harsh weather. I think I could buy more, in a different color!

I'm 5'3 " and this coat fits me down to my ankles.

I'm 5'1" and this coat fits me down to my ankles. If you're under 5 feet tall , this coat will drag on the floor unless you plan on wearing platforms LOL!The coat is A-line which means it has enough room to spread your legs if you need to run around catching a train or something. For me, the coat closes 2" below the knee. I have a 34" waist with a 38D bust. LARGE would be perfect, but I took 1XL because Oregon winters can be harsh and I plan on wearing another coat underneath.

Warm, durable, efficient

I'm from California moving to Chicago and this coat is a life saver! Pros: - Feels like you are literally carrying a large sleeping bag. It's very warm, even with a biting wind. - Fleece-lined pockets to keep hands warm even without a heating pad. - LONG! I'm 5ft 7" and the coat falls about 6" above my ankles and 3-4 layers fit underneath. The size is accurate. No surprises with XL. I'm curvy (read: I need room for my bust) and XL fits perfectly with a little more room even if I'm wearing 3-4…

UN - Frozen - Down & Parkas

Love Love I love this coat. It's dense, soft and warm, but not too heavy. It has a strong zipper that can be closed at the top and bottom. As with any zipper, be careful not to catch the surrounding fabric in your teeth. The coat also has buttons at the bottom front. WHICH TYPE?!?!?! Knitted wrist cuffs. That means COLD air doesn't get up your sleeves. Fleece-lined pockets to keep your hands soft, warm and cozy even when you're not wearing gloves. I chose red because I wanted something…

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • Little things

So it's just out of the box so can't speak to durability, zips, washing etc. But when I wear it, it's phenomenal. I've only worn Eddie Bauer parkas my whole life, but for long winter walks with my dog I really needed something up to the ankle, and they only go up to 45 inches. It's almost 50, which means it's close to the ankle (more will do in the snow). This item is WARM! Who needs feathers when you can warm up on this thing? I don't like synthetic fibers but they have their utility and…
