👕 Teal Empower NiteBright Ultra Luminescent Safety Vest Review

I just bought one of these and it's good for night trips, hiking etc. Used it on July 4th while canoeing for a party to watch the fireworks see. The color and style are beautiful, very fashionable. Light weight and good ventilation. Bought it for my daughter a few days ago.

I used it 3 times before running outside with another person and asking if it was reflective. It's totally non-reflective and I almost got hit by a turning car while crossing the street. I am completely disappointed with the quality and wish I had run outside at night with someone else to find out sooner so I can return it.

Very strange shape. Like other reviews, definitely not for those on the larger side. The shoulder straps are huge and need velcro to adjust as they slip off the shoulders. I will change because there are too many return problems. Not as light as in the pictures. It doesn't seem to reflect very well, but maybe enough. I would feel uncomfortable wearing it in high traffic areas as I don't think the visibility is too good.

The purpose of purchasing this Empower ultra reflective safety vest was to use it for my very early morning run before sunrise around 5am or after 6pm when the sun goes down. So when I cross the sidewalk or street, cars and other pedestrians can see me so they don't hit me. The fit was too big for me, it kept falling off so now it just sits in the back of my closet. .
