I like to have a clean filter when I empty the vacuum. I can then just clean up the used one and let it dry without worrying about it getting moldy or having to wait for the cleaner to dry again. Unfortunately my DD died, now I have to find another one. It lasted for years and was so light and handy for "small jobs".

Fits my Dirt Devil but very thin/poor quality. This may not be a problem other than grabbing and grabbing and twisting the filter to remove and clean after each vacuuming. With them, the filter at hand collapses, making it difficult to roll/remove and also kicking up a large cloud of dust. OEM filters are durable enough to be easily cleaned. This is definitely a time when OEM is worth the premium.

It is very annoying when you are looking for your product and looking for replacement filters when Revain matches the filter with the product and says that the customers often but the two are together, so I buy that Filter I think I am I receive the correct filter for the product (for my 84 year old aunt, not me), discover it is the wrong filter and now I cannot return the product. Very disappointed with this Revain feature and the fact that the seller does not offer returns.

These fit my Dirt Devil upright vacuum and I found it relatively easy to get rid of the dust that was on them after using them. It releases quite a bit of dust and a soft toothbrush will remove loose particles. My vacuum definitely worked a lot better, so I've had the old filters for too long and I won't make that mistake again. They're a little - not enough to be overly fussy about IMO - twisting easily, so you'll need to be a bit more careful with handling them when attaching them to the head
