Perfect for what I need. Light weight, good size, won't slide on counter and won't dull knives. One of the best boards I've ever used

BIG SIZE. EXCELLENT QUALITY. PLEASANT APPEARANCE. The only downside is that they smell TERRIBLE if you pour really hot water over them! However, I do want to douse them with hot water to ensure they are perfectly clean.

I love it. So tired of splitting wooden planks. This is dishwasher safe, which keeps it clean and sanitized between uses. Used this brand in the SurLaTable class and will be ordering more in other sizes.

Finally a cutting board that doesn't dull, our new sharp carving knife. We have had many knives that have become blunt with cutting boards made of wood, glass or plastic. Even though our new knife left a few cuts on the board, they aren't as deep as our other cutting boards. I love the non-slip corners. I thought there was a problem with the color, no. I have to buy another one to keep from swearing at my husband.

But while the legs definitely keep it from sliding, they also make it a bit flimsy. The pressure on the center of the board causes it to bow, and if I chop hard at all the board bounces a bit under my knife. Foodies should make thicker boards when putting their feet on them so they don't give in to pressure.

Material of board comes loose when shredded which I think is common with most synthetic cutting boards. Presumably the Epicurean material is less toxic. I like my thick plastic board a little more for several reasons.1. This stuff is LOUD when you hack it up. Not a big deal, but a few things to keep in mind.2. I love this cutting board and its size (and its ability to fit in my dishwasher, unlike OTHER cutting boards, but that's not the point). I struggle a bit with its texture when cutting with a very sharp knife, but I'm pretty sure no one else in the universe will have this problem. It's like a slab texture, so if you don't mind scratching it with sharp objects, then yes, it's very good.
