3 inch foam was not what I expected for the price I paid. You can sleep on it, it's not as comfortable as expected. Instead, I would pick it at the store.

Just what I needed. Buyers should understand that the pillow height is measured from the base to the top of the foam egg crate. So it's not really a 3 or 4 inch pillow. One of them has been lying on my bed for many years. They are very comfortable, hold their shape and are not hot to sleep on, unlike memory foam. Highly recommended.
