Extra Thick Spiral Buffing 80 Ply Review

When I tried this product, it did not live up to its claims of being extra thick and efficient. The buffing pad was thin and fell apart easily, making it difficult to use. While the price seemed affordable, the quality of this tool leaves a lot to be desired.

I use this grinding wheel for about 4-5 hours of continuous work on a bench grinder at 3600rpm to buff and burnish various types of stainless steel firearms with a water soluble polishing paste. It works great and holds up great even after soaking, cleaning and drying and reinstalling. I am very happy with it.

Nice wide stitched polishing pad, ideal for polishing brass from rough or ground to highly polished. This wheel can handle the pressure, speed and heat required to add shine, smoothness and shine to brass and even steel. I use mine on my wood lathe with one of those tapered screws that turn on adapters that I can easily install in the chuck. I don't need a separate bench grinder or polisher for this kind of work. This wheel is perfect for my wood workshop.
