This thing works like magic. Replace the neck, drill a small pilot hole, drill a 1/2 inch diameter hole, hammer the vent hole with a rubber mallet. Gas bottle That fixes it.

The packaging says "pre 2009 gas cylinders only" but they fit my new Midwest cylinders perfectly. Very easy to install. For vent caps, you need to drill a 1/2 inch diameter hole; I used a step drill ending at 1/2 inch to make a perfect round hole. You must use a rubber mallet to fully seat the bleed plugs; They are not entered manually.

I have used gas cans for a long time and many of them don't have a spout. These things are amazing! A little expensive and bulky but worth it! Very fast pouring but much more control due to the long spout. I really liked that the set comes with two rings per grommet, now there are replacement rings for grommets with missing rings. Good quality plastic too. I will probably buy again.

Very easy to install. Came with enough cap options so I could upgrade all of my gas canisters. Some gas bottles were older, some newer - it suits everyone. Make sure you have a 1/2" tapered drill bit and not a silicone gasket. The conical drill makes a very nice hole, as in the photo. I've attached a picture of what I used and all 3 updates went through with no issues. And now I can refuel my mower quickly and safely – great.

I don't want to rant let alone spill a product that doesn't live up to expectations but these gas nozzles do the job. After the eco-friendly spout spouts that originally adorned my gas canisters caused more frustration than a person could stomach, I took it upon myself to explore the options.
