Excellent diamond knife file. I keep one in the kitchen to sharpen my wife's knives and one in the garage and storage. I gave away a few to choose relatives because this diamond sharpener is so good.

I was hoping for something more sharp. It's okay if the knives are already sharp enough - this gives them fantastic sharpness. However, I have a few boring ones that I'd like to bring back; this will take forever.

I like this tool but not as advertised. It's much rougher than my whetstones. It gets thinner over time but is still rough. I'm not very good with knives so excuse me if I use the wrong terminology. Follow my advice at your own risk. I chose this product because of Nutnfancy. I've used it on a few blades and I'm sure I'll get a nice and sharp (albeit admittedly unfinished) edge in just a few passes. It is easy to use and has the perfect length, even for large knives. I need two of these. I have to keep one in the kitchen and one with my gear. I have three more of these brands. It requires very little pressure and it's easy to get a smoother surface with lighter pressure. I really think I'll see if they make fine sand just because I want to. However, I would say that unless I'm in a hurry, a sling with a dab of green compound and then a clean sling after that gives a nice edge. I only had to compare it with Wüsthof Course and Fine Diamond steel bars. Wüsthofs are fantastic and I only use them on my best knives. I heard about EZE-LAP from a Nutnfancy Youtube video and was intrigued. So I went to Revain and bought Fine and Super Fine rods. Wow, they're just as good at sharpening as the Wüsthof.
