Great pencils for writing and correcting accessories

I've heard so much about Polychromos pencils. When I heard they were releasing a limited edition pencil for the anniversary, I had to buy a few. I like the hardness of the pencils because sometimes my hands are heavy and my Prismacolor pencils tend to break at the tips when I paint. The color sets very well and these are great colors. I have nothing bad to say about it and would love to get the current pencils. I'm so glad I ordered them. It was a great purchase.

  • Decent performance

Assorted colors in stationery and school supplies

That's just how good these pens are... My complaint is actually related to the description of the website here at Revain. They list 12 colors that are very different from the colors listed on the box. The leaflet contains numbers that correspond to the name of the color that is not on the pen. The colors in the set are Opaque White, Cadmium Light Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Magenta, English Red, Sepia, Miscellaneous, Vandyke Brown, Light Blue, Indigo, May Green and Green. I know I forgot one, but…

Where are the multiple colors listed in the product description?

The 36-piece AW Faber Polychromos anniversary set differs from the description. I decided to keep it (already had to return another and much larger Faber-Castell set as the pens received were not marked with the label shown in the photo of the pens and they were not of the quality of my smaller Faber-Polychromos set .To be on the safe side I ordered the AW Faber Anniversary Edition of 36 and carefully compared the listed color names to my set of 12 (also an Anniversary Edition) I saw only 4…

Not exactly for colourists

I've wanted to try this for a long time. I took a pack of 12 as it was the cheapest. I have compared them to other brands of oil crayons and of course they are easier to blend and give a more cohesive look. I was surprised at how many colors settled at the slightest touch. I read a lot that they are translucent, but I liked the coating. Nothing like Prismacolor, but I wasn't expecting that either. I've attached a photo of a coloring book I finished using just these 12 colors. I managed to…

Is it different from the usual polychromes of this brand?

When I ordered these it was because I had bought a colored pencil with a cobalt blue key at an art store a while ago. I just started drawing with pencils. I love it! It glides easily across paper, with just the right amount of drag, but leaves just the right amount of color behind, minimizing the need for layers to achieve the desired depth of color. I waited to buy because of the cost. In the meantime I have bought several sets of other brands, mostly forgetting that one pencil. When I…
