Fandeli 36010 Sandpaper Sheets (Pack of 25 Sheets) Review

We sand a lot of wood and have used Fandelli's multipurpose paper in the past with success. We went back to buy paper again but used wood sandpaper and got terrible results. It tears, pierces easily and just explodes with a grinder. From now on we will stick to universal paper.

I was looking for cheaper bulk sandpaper than what I could find locally for wood turning. The blades are a bit coarser than the advertised grit and leave a few nasty scratches akin to 60 grit sandpaper. For the price, I can handle it a little, except that it loads very quickly. A 1/4 leaf Gator or 3M purchased locally will do at least 6 or more flower vases that I am currently making. This stuff is loaded with dust as soon as you put wood on it and I only get about 1 grinder vase per quarter…

This sandpaper did not convince me in any way. I live in the country so it takes me 1 hour to get to Home Depot or Lowe's so I took a chance and ordered this which was a mistake. I used 3M 120 grit which did an excellent job of removing shellac and varnish from the woodwork in our home that was installed in 1903. I received this package, started sanding and found it not durable. As soon as the sander touched the shellac, the paper became unusable within a minute. I had to spend the extra money…
