Worked great! good for replacing sensors

We recently changed the tires on my 2016 Buick Encore which changed the location of the TPMS sensors for the DIC in the car. Instead of going to the store to reset them, I decided to order a retraining tool and do it myself. The tool came quickly, the instructions are clear, the tires were ready in 2 minutes!

Unlike advertised this does not work on the Volvo XC90

I had a 2008 Volvo XC90 with a low battery on one of the TPMS sensors. After installing VDO, which is an OE for Volvo, I followed the instructions exactly and held the button down for at least 10 minutes without receiving anything in return. Very upset! I don't think it works on Volvo.

Doesn't work with 2018 Subaru Outback

The tool claims to be compatible with Subaru models up to 2019. TPMS relearn mode. Maybe it will work if I put the car into teach-in mode. Everything I have found on the internet for my 2018 Subaru Outback has to do with using the OBD port on the vehicle.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Some flaws

Worked on my 2007 Tahoe

Works but written instructions are wrong. Follow the instructions for the interior of the car first, then the exterior, the driver's front wheel, the front passenger's wheel, then the rear passenger's wheel, and finally the driver's rear wheel. It only takes a few seconds for the beep to sound. Make sure your tires are straight or it won't work as I found out by reading the tips in the manual.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works best on Subaru on tires and wheels

Works to wake up sensors on 2017 Subaru Forester. Not fancy but got the job done. On this Subaru model, it doesn't matter which corner the wheels are mounted in, all that matters is that the correct identification numbers for the TPMS wheel sensors are in the car's computer memory and that the tire pressure is adequate. You need a separate tool connected to the OBDII port to write new sensor IDs when you switch to new sensors, e.g. B. if you switch to a different set of tires and wheels for the

For those who need to relearn the TPMS system, here is your tool.

Reset TPMS has come a long way. A relatively inexpensive tool from FASLINK made this process possible in five minutes or less. Even when I have pros changing tires, they always forget to properly relearn the tire position. This causes a slight headache when you see a tire on the dash but end up inflating the wrong tire. There you end up guessing that there really isn't much. "With a retraining tool, why guess. Now I can do this every time I service my wheels. Whether winter or everyday tires or
