My monitor flickers when I get up from my chair and research on the internet has shown that using ferrite cores solves the problem. I have 5 on my cable and I still get flicker.

They removed a lot of noise from my cordless phone's power wiring. Despite the fact that the power supply is constant, the ferrite bars on the cores did their job.

I installed several of these on the power cord and antenna connector on my radio to reduce noise from the LEDs as well as the cable to the LED lights. They don't seem to work for RFI noise in this application.

Purchased because the LED headlights I installed on my Jeep were interfering with FM radio reception. They provided an improvement, maybe 90% fewer findings. I had to install 2 or 3 on each headlight wire so having as many as intended was great otherwise I might have had to order more.

These chokes may or may not be as effective in reducing the RFI generated by my devices or in reducing the interference from my transmitter to my home devices. My cords and cables now all look like garden snakes that a frog recently ate. * Whistles meant to scare away elephants (or is it deer?). I'll note that I haven't met an elephant (and a deer, by the way) since putting a few of these tiny decals on my car, so they should work.

I have used these magnets on all types of audio cables from headphones to speaker cables to eliminate noise on the lines from a number of things that could cause interference. However, they are also suitable for HDMI or other cables prone to noise, EMI, etc. I can't count the number of times I've bought a pack of one size magnets only to regret it.
